Complicated and Straight forward Family Law

Journey  Family Lawyers undertakes Family Law and de facto law, Child Support and overseas Family Law matters.  We try to de mystify and resolve even the most complicated matters.

We try to simplify and settle or speed to trial all matters.

Legal aid

We treat all clients, legal aid or private with the same great respect and understanding. If you are eligible for legal aid, we are happy to act for you.

Prenuptial Agreements

Great for couples who are planning to marry and want everything very clear first.

Binding Financial Agreements

For married parties or those planning Marriage. These can be done before, during or after marriage and the fee for these complicated documents is usually $2,200.

Cohabitation and separation Agreements

 For de facto couple. The fee is usually $2,200 for these agreements which, when you consider the trouble they can save, is a real bargain.

Legal Aid

We welcome Legal Aid clients as well as private clients.

 

Mediation

We have trained mediators on staff who will conduct mediations in Brisbane or Rockhampton for $880.00 for up to 4 hours. This cost is shared between the parties.

 

Urgent Appointments

We offer appointments in only 2 or 3 days. If it is really urgent we will try to see you at once.

 

Free 10 minute Phone appointments

Only for people who aren't already clients of ours or another firm and who haven't seen us before. Great for just checking out our firm or a quick question or two if you don't have a lawyer.
