Our principal, Lynette Galvin, is an Accredited Family Law Specialist with over 25 years experience in Family Law. She has been an accredited Family Law Specialist since 1997 when Family Specialisation first began in Queensland. Our firm of dedicated Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Strathpine Family Lawyers and Mediators acts only in Family Law and defacto matters. We have collectively had many years of experience in divorce, de facto and Family Law and each of us is committed to the “Positive Approach” of Journey Family Lawyers.

We are Family Lawyers by choice. Although we have all had experience in other areas of law, we each made the decision early in our careers to dedicate our expertise to Family Law.

We act in children’s issues, previously called lives with (custody) and time with (contact) cases for children and Property cases, Child Support, and mediation. We also undertake new legal aid work.

Our team consists of 12 dedicated Family Lawyers and 8 personal assistants who are very experienced in making your concerns their priority. Our common sense approach is appreciated by our clients.
