Changing Law Firms?

If you feel that you would prefer to have our firm handle your case then we are happy to help.

Sometimes it can feel difficult to change lawyers. You will feel loyalty to your solicitor sometimes but still feel that there could be more that should be done to move things along. We understand that sometimes other firms require their staff to carry many more files than we do. This can result in your file being one one of many rather than one of only about 20  or so files.

 If you wish to try our firm's positive approach, then email us at enquiries@journeyfamilylawyers.com.au and we will arrange for the file to be transferred to us. There is no need for any ill will with your former lawyers. We will handle the transfer with dignity and a minimum of disruption to your case. Even if you are not far from a Court date, we may be able to help you with a concentrated effort on your part and ours.

Over the years we have had many satisfied clients who have transferred from other firms. They are our best advertisement. If you have a case that needs some proactive attention we may be the lawyers for you. WE are not the dearest lawyers by any means but we are not the cheapest either. You will get an activity statement once a week or so that will show what work has been done on your file. This keeps you up to date with where you are at with fees and progress on your case. Our clients love this as there are no nasty surprises at the end of a matter and it shows our clients how they can keep their costs at a minimum.
